He was predeceased by: his parents, Louie Dietz and Hazel Dietz (Dixon); and his sister Karen Bigler. He is survived by: his wife Diana Dietz; his children, Michelle Eisenhauer (Gary) and Cleth "Josh" Dietz (Britany); his grandchildren, Christopher, Devon and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Daniel and Leigh; his sister Janet Fassel; and his mother-in-law Violet Forbes.
Memorials may be made to the Honor Guard American Legion Post # 127 in Murphysboro and will be accepted at the American Legion or funeral home.
