She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick "Shorty" Thompson and Flora Thompson; her husband Bob DuPuis; her brother Freddie Thompson; and her brother-in-law Dick Stapel.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Duke (Greg) of De Soto, Kristy Gray (Rusty) of De Soto and Rob DuPuis (Stephanie) of Sesser; her siblings, Brenda Stapel of Murphysboro, Dianne Tremblay (Dax) of Victoria, Chuck Thompson (Gayla) of Vergennes and Elaine Lundeberg (John) of Carbondale; and her close friends, Dennis, Cindy Barnett and Marilyn Harris. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions be made to Rivers of Living Water Fellowship Church and/or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
