With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Williams of De Soto, Illinois, born in Hammond, Indiana, who passed away on March 22, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Evelyn Williams (Graham) and James Williams; and his brothers, Don and Tom Williams (Nanette). He is survived by: his spouse Lynn Smith; his siblings, David Williams (Regina) and Linda Perkins (Phil); his nieces and nephews, Christine Chance (Chip), Kimberly Canosa (Tony), Laura Waelbroeck, T. J. Williams (Bridgett) and Derek Williams; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan, Emma Chance, Jackson, Natalie Smith, Lily Waelbroeck, Stella and Chase Williams.

Memorials may be made to Rivers of Living Water Fellowship Church or donor's favorite animal shelter.
