He was predeceased by: his parents, John Blumenstock and Lucy Blumenstock (Beasley); and his son-in-law Frank McKee. He is survived by: his children, David Blumenstock (Phyllis) of DeSoto, Dorris McKee of DeSoto, Ronald Blumenstock (Susan) of DeSoto and Rhonda Blumenstock of DeSoto; his grandchildren, Anthony Blumenstock, Cody Blumenstock (Brittany), Christy Bockler (Christopher), Jason McKee (Rachel), Jonathan McKee, Alicia Lorenz (Rob), Kyle Blumenstock and Alexandria Blumenstock; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth Bockler, Joshua Bockler, Noah Lorenz, Genevieve Lorenz and Addison Blumenstock; and his sister Wilma Pulcifer.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church in DeSoto or Alzheimer's Association.
