He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R. Young and Juanita L. Young (Taylor); and his son Jeremy Young. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth; his sons, Jason (Beth) and Josh Young (Andrea); his grandchildren, Korey, Kingsley and Olivia Young; and his siblings, Cheryl Atkins and Raymon Young. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
