He is survived by: his wife Tonia; his children, Vanessa Ekis of Dawson, Eddy Ekis Jr. (Barbie) of Illiopolis, Jonny Ekis and Jacob Ekis; his grandchildren, Zach Kingery, Emma, Zara, Rylan Ekis and Drake Prior; and his great grandchild Dacie Kingery.
