“Roger and I were high school classmates. Some years later, Roger spent an overnight here in Colorado with my wife and I. We had a great time catching up and swapping stories. The next year he called and wanted us to view a place in the mountains that he was thinking of buying. It had a beautiful view, but the cabin was a dump. Roger never did get to move back to the Rockies. I always looked forward to seeing him at our class get togethers. Thoughts and prayers for his family.”

“Roger was a friend in high school and I lost track of him for awhile. But, we shared the same birthday so we would get in touch on our birthdays. I understood that he had an interesting life, served his country and eventually came back to Illinois and met regularly with our 1961 classmates.
