He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Szula and Rose Szula (Corpi); his son-in-law Lee Hornburg; and his sister Angie Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Kenyon; his children, Deanna Jaeckel (John), Debi Hornburg, Michael P. Szula, Jr. (Sharen) and Mark W. Szula; his grandchildren, Sara Ignace (Ryan), Justin Eck, Tiffany Orvis (Scott Neuy), Tanya Reese (Bradley), Anthony Michael Szula, Samantha Lussier and Mathew Szula (Nichole); his great grandchildren, Sydney, McKenna, Gerrick, Grace, Wyatt, Zoe, Ella and Ezra; and his brother Edward Szula.
A Memorial Visitation, following COVID 19 guidelines of social distancing and wearing of masks, will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021 in McCorkle Funeral Home - Countryman Chapel 529 Washington St., Pecatonica, IL from 4:00 p. m. to 6:00 p. m.
In Lieu of Flowers memorials may be given in Mike's name to Vet Roll: 1777 Gardner St., South Beloit, IL 61080.
