He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Klever and Bertha Klever (Ubben); his sister Shirley Martin; and his brother-in-law Donald "Till" Althafer. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Klever of Davis; his siblings, Burdette Klever (Janice) of Davis, Bob Klever (Pam) of Davis and Patsy Althafer of Davis; and his brother-in-law Clifford Martin of Juda, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
