Hoeksema Sr. of Davis, Illinois, born in Harvey, Illinois, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hoeksema and Anges Hoeksema (Huizenga); his siblings, Carl Hoeksema, Beatrice Presley (John) and Joyce Jansma (Peter); and his sister-in-law Joyce Hoeksema.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Buchholz; his sons, John Hoeksema, Jr. (Sandi) and Jason Hoeksema (Anne); his grandsons, Timothy, John and Willem Hoeksema; his brothers, Harold Hoeksema (Theone) and Henry "Bud" Hoeksema; and his sister-in-law Sylvia Hoeksema.
