With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald L. Shippy Sr. (Davis, Illinois), who passed away on September 6, 2018 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Leland L. Shippy Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Beatrice (Leland) and Beth (Eugene). He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Gehlhausen); his children, Thomas (Michele), David (Barbara), Donald Jr. (Donna), William, Cherie (Trish) and Catherine Horst (James); his grandchildren, Michael, Kristina, Lauren, Autumn, Sarah, James, Joseph, Tyler, John, Alexandra, Elizabeth and Andrew; and his siblings, Mary Ellen Shippy, James Jackson Shippy, Eugene Shippy and Dennis Shippy (Mary).
