She was predeceased by: her father Anthony Baranowski; her brother Anthony Baranowski Jr.; and her nephew Bobby Schuma. She is survived by: her mother Lorene Baranowski (Fischer) of Dixon, IL; her husband Larry Schmidt of Davis; her children, David Schmidt (Karen) of Rock City, IL and Lorrie Sterling (Jeff) of Chippewa Falls, WI; her grandchildren, Shelby Handlen (Kyle), Morgan Leffelman (Tyler), Brock Duncan (Marissa Kelsey), Devon Sterling and Austin Sterling; her great grandchild Caden Handlen; her sister Barbara Barth (Brian) of Casa Grande, AZ; her sister-in-law Stacy Baranowski; her nieces, Krissy Glaze and Dana Howell; and her nephew Tony Baranowski.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northern Illinois Hospice, SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education), or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
