She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Simons and Viola Simons (Dummer); her brothers, Forrest Simons, Jr. and Roger Simons; her great grandchild Taytum Elizabeth Berry; her parents-in-law, Eugene and Marian Bolen; her brother-in-law Fred Wiederholtz; and her nephew Jack Dollmeyer.
She is survived by: her husband James Bolen of Davis Junction; her daughters, Ann Marie Myrvold (Michael) of Monroe Center and Leslie Showers (Michael) of Byron; her grandchildren, Keegan Myrvold (Sarah) of Oregon, IL, Kourtnee Berry (Taylor) of Greenbrier, AR, Kolton Myrvold (Cassidy) of Oregon, IL, Brennan Showers (Sarah Hogenson) of Nashville, TN, Dylan Showers of Byron, IL and Carson Showers of Byron, IL; her great grandchildren, Brooks Berry and Sutton Myrvold; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Simons and Sandy Wiederholtz.
A memorial fund has been established for the Rockford Rescue Mission and Rock House Kids in Rockford.
