With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Hetland of Davis Junction, Illinois, born in DeKalb, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2024 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Hetland and Alice Hetland (Michael); and his siblings, Barbara Hetland, Sonja Hetland and Karl Hetland.
He is survived by: his wife Ada Hetland (Diaz); his children, John Hetland (Kristina) of Loveland, Keith Hetland (Sandy) of Clare, IL and Natasha Hetland (Don Cherry) of DeKalb; and his siblings, Jim Hetland (Debi) of Haynes City, FL, Eric Hetland (Thes) of Tacoma, WA and Shirley Johnson of Chicago. He is also survived by five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
