She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Pearson and Maud Pearson; her siblings, Vernon, June, Harry and Victor; her sons, James and Mark; and her grandson Jason Beers.

She is survived by: her children, Julia Higgins and Ed Beers. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
