With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlys L. Aspel of Darien, Illinois, born in Parkston, South Dakota, who passed away on October 1, 2022 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marlys L. Aspel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. Wuertzer and Ida Wuertzer (Schuler); her husband James A. Aspel; her son-in-law Amel Bolyard; her brother Wilmer Wuertzer; and her stepsiblings, Alton Wuertzer, Martha Tiede, Ida Leischner and Sadie Schmidt.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Bolyard of Kenosha, WI. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one daughter in law.
A memorial has been established to Resthave Home for the exceptional compassion and caring they provided.
