He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie "Maria" Peksa and Roman Switalski. He is survived by: his wife Betty Schmitt; his children, Linda S. Long of Chicago, Karen K. Sullivan of St. Augustine, FL and Greg Swiston (Mary) of Downers Grove; his grandchildren, Adam J. Long, Devin S. Long, Skyeler L. Timmons (Cassie), Brock E. Kowske, Larry Swiston, Christian Swiston, Gregory Swiston, Jamie Smith (Beth), Kristofer Sullivan and Katie Collins (Jeremy); his great grandchildren, Tyler Long, Ryder, Wyatt Timmons, Kenzie Martin, Trenton Palucci, Aaliyah Smith, Braden Gerage, Dylan Smith, Jameson Smith and Lyra Smith; his extended family, Jenean Long (late Jeff), Brad Long (Laurie) and Steve Long; and also, Autumn, Trevor, Jonah, Hayden, Taytum, Tanner and Taylin.
