With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Hummer of Danville, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Hummer and Emma Hummer (Holycross); and his siblings, Janice Hummer, Aaron Hummer, Dale Hummer and Jerry Hummer.

He is survived by: his sons, Brian Hummer (Tonya) and Douglas Hummer (Carrie); his grandchildren, Caleb Hummer (Alivia), Natalie McLean (Cam), Mackenzie Joy Hummer, Kara Hummer and Emma Hummer; and his siblings, Dan Hummer (Linda) and Karen Shockey (Barry). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rock Church (20 Poland Rd, Danville, IL 61834). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials in Bill's name may be made to the Feed the Forgotten or King's Kids Village of Kenya.
