He was predeceased by: his parents, Fanny Mary Porter and Willie Goings; his daughter Evonda Goings; his sister Alberta Collins; his niece Barbara Allen; and his nephews, Peter, Tommie and Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Jeri Smith (Joseph) and Thomas Goings, Jr. (Sandra); his pet Josephine Ungler; his grandchildren, Stacey, Nicole, Edward and Anthony (Boogie); his nieces, Mary, Tracy and Nancy; his goddaughter Judy Criss; and his friend Danville. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, other relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Life Church of Faith (1419 N Bowman Ave, Danville, IL 61832). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
