He was predeceased by: his parents, Clinton Raymond and Juanita Louise Lake (Morlan); and his sister Christy Lynn Lake Alesi. He is survived by: his significant other Greg M. Thatcher; and his siblings, Raymond Lake (Sue), Audey Lake (Donna), Curtis Lake and Debbie Lake Hollowell (Ricky). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kruger Funeral Home & Crematory (10 E Williams St, Danville, IL 61832). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
