He was predeceased by: his parents, Buell and Mary Randall (Pittaway); his daughter Kristy Lynn; and his brother George. He is survived by: his children, Mark Randall (Colleen), Paul Hempel and Shannon LaBounty; his grandchildren, Maeve Randall, Norah Randall, Aileen Randall, Ryan Parker (Paige), Kennedy Hempel, Chloe Hempel, Calvin Hempel, Karys Hempel, Keegan Willis and Bryce LaBounty; his nieces, Darla O'Shaughnessy (Thomas) and Danna Harrold (David); and his nephew Robert "Bobby" Randall (Donna). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Danville First Church of the Nazarene (2212 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61832).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests support of any of these organizations that were especially important to Bob: The Danville First Church of the Nazarene, Danville Area Community College, and the Danville Symphony Orchestra.
