She was predeceased by : her parents, Irene Watson-Wright and Clarence Wright; her siblings, Martha Wright and Clarence Wright; and her nephew Zarius Brown.

She is survived by : her children, Shavala Wright of Danville, IL, Kayla Wright, Deshaun Wright of Lafayette, IN, Myron Wright, Kody Wright, Edward Wright of Danville, IL and Avion Wright of Lafayette, IN; her sister Kay Wright; and her nieces and nephews, Terry Wright, Gabriel Wright, Marcus Keys, Claxton Wright, Natasha Echols, Robin Farr, Martha Rose, Leandrea Wright, Shari Wright and Clarisha Wright. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Leek & Sons Funeral Home (304 E Williams St, Danville, IL 61832). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
