She was predeceased by: her parents, Della Myra Easley and Deacon Luke; and her husband Deacon John Willie Easley. She is survived by: her sister Fannie Wilson; her children, Benita Lewis, Carl Lewis and John Easley, Jr.; her grandson Leland Easley; and her stepchild Latoyia Willis. She is also survived by stepchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the God's Church W. (123 Tennessee Ave, Danville, IL 61832). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
She became an Honorary Life Member of the PTA and was active in the Danville School District 118 as a co-leader in The Great Books Foundation.
