He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Henk and Myrtle Henk (Leisch); his stepson Todd Potter; and his brother-in-law Jerome Brown. He is survived by: his children, Michael Henk (Nancy) of Greenville, TN, Troy Henk (Joee) of Danville, IL and Tricia Henk of Bismarck, IL; his grandchildren, Carter Henk, Austin Taylor (Jasmine), Brittany Berger (Nicholas), Lucas Boyd, Lauren Boyd, Zachery Brogan, Whitney Henk, Michael Henk (Mikaela), Cody Jacobs and Chanz Jacobs; and his siblings, Dan Henk (Judy) of Danville, IL and Patricia Brown (Jerome Brown). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
