He was predeceased by: his father John Robert Gherna. He is survived by: his sons, Nathan and Jordan Gherna; his mother Joyce Gherna; his brothers, Dan (Cathy) and Doug Gherna (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Olivur, Aislynn, Haisley and Melani; and his significant other Leah Rhys. He is also survived by 2 nephews, a niece, grandnephews and grandnieces, cousins, aunt and uncle.
Memorials may be made in Johnny's memory to Vermilion Heights Christian Church or St Jude's Children's Hospital.
