He was predeceased by: his parents, John H Thoma and Marcella Thoma (Lyons); his brother John C. Thoma; and his brother-in-law Thomas Shepherd. He is survived by: his sisters, Kandis Conn (Phillip) of Danville, IL and Julia Shepherd of Danville, IL. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
