She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Stanton and Sanford (Harris); her siblings, Renetha Atkinson, Gracie Mae Patton, Jimmie Lee Sanford, Jr., Hattie Brown and Wayne Sanford; her close friend Shirley Lewis; and her siblings, James White (Jody), Rachel Cunningham (Carlos) and Timmie Sanford (Martha).
She is survived by: her sons, Jerome (Jennifer) of Danville, IL and Cory Sanford; her grandchildren, Jaquonte' (Jasmin Conyers), Kahlil Sanford, Keaira Sanford, Jaylen Sanford, Javon Sanford and Jerzi Sanford; her great grandchild Joelle; her close friends, Larry Webster, Shirley Duncan and Dorothy Dawson; and her stepsiblings, Glenda Withers, Druscilla Hayes (Larry), Robert Wilson, Tissia Wilson (Charles) and Prentice Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
