He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Penrod and Ruth Penrod (Elkins); his sons, Justin Penrod and Ricky Reavis; and his sister Linda Cole (Penrod).
He is survived by: his close friend Mike Joslin; his wife Diana Penrod (Johnson); his children, Jim Penrod of Danville, IL, Nicole Escobedo (Herb) of Rifle, CO and Christi Shank (Raymond) of Galveston, IN.; his grandchildren, Terry, Trae, Tyvilyn, Makyah, Ema, Courtney, Megan, Brock, Saddie, Rylynn, Joplin and Brynnley; his great grandchild Enzo Joshua; and his siblings, Claire Matheny (Mack), James Penrod (Patricia), Karl Penrod (Sandy) and Teddy Penrod. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic cancer research.
