Demetrius M. Shaw Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Demetrius M. Shaw (Danville, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 39. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bobbie Bennie, Steven, Carol Forthenberry, William and Earlie Shaw; his aunt Tia Forthenberry; and his uncles, Stefphon, Adam Forthenbery, Anthony and Steven Shaw.
He is survived by: his parents, Phillip Shaw and Rosiland Shaw; his wife Rhonaisha Shaw; his sons, William Coleman, Marquan Shaw and Dracyn Shaw; his siblings, Rickesha Parish, Rickey Forthenberry and Kiara Shaw; and his close friends, Troy Coe and David Anding. He is also survived by 11 nieces, 11 nephews, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Leek & Sons Funeral Home (304 E Williams St, Danville, IL 61832). Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Life Church of Faith (1419 N Bowman Ave, Danville, IL 61832). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
