With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barry Allan Thomas of Danville, Illinois, born in Paris, Illinois, who passed away on July 3, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Barry leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Barry may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Russell Alan and Henrietta Lillian Thomas (Potts); his mother-in-law Linda E. Brown; and his siblings, Debi Thomas of Orlando, Susan Harvey of Frederica Delaware, Kenneth Thomas of Des Moines and Russell Thomas of Des Moines. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Second Church of Christ or C.A.R.A. no-kill animal shelter in Tilton.
