She was predeceased by: her parents, James Parker and Carrie Parker; her adoptive father Nolan Hurt; and her brother Donald Tetter Sr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy K. Hamilton of Indianapolis and Johnny R. Hurt of Indianapolis, Indiana.; her grandchildren, Olivia Gaines, Derion Reed, Sophia Allyn Davis, Bryanna Parker Armstrong and Melvin Lewis Armstrong 3rd; and her close friend Kenny Brandon. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Leek & Sons Funeral Home (304 E Williams St, Danville, IL 61832). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
