She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bess and Dorothy Scharfenberg Bess; and her brother Dale E. Bess. She is survived by: her spouse Dale Yoder August; her children, Greg Yoder (Becky) of Bloomington, Cindy Gillis (Mark) of Danvers, Cathy Wroan (Gary) of Bloomington and Amy Talbert (Jeff) of Minier; her grandchildren, Ashley White (Zack), Ryan Gillis, John Wroan IV, Katelynn Garman (Jason), Blake Wroan, Melissa Poynter (Nick), Joshua Yoder (Jill), Samantha Yoder, Paytn Talbert and Marlee Talbert; and her brother Walter Bess Jr.. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
