He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Oehler and Laura Oehler (Knapple); his grandson Andy Oehler; and his siblings, Ruth, Richard, Robert and Edward.

He is survived by : his wife Anita Carol McClure; his sons, Steven Oehler (Connie) of Danvers and Tim Oehler (Gerry) of Danvers; his brother Kenneth Oehler (Lois) of Normal; his friend Tammie Ewald; and his nephews, Curt Oehler and Danvers Post Office Employees.
