It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judi (Judith) Smith Hisel of Danforth, Illinois, who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Boness and Erna Boness; her former husband David Earl Smith; her husband Walter Hisel; her children, Curtis Smith, David Smith and Natalie Smith; her granddaughter Kerie'Green; and her sister Juanita Nordmeyer.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Green (Michael) and Nicolas Smithand (Britney); her daughter-in-law Nancy Smith; her grandchildren, Maverick Smith, Emmaly Martin, Bailey Tant (Ken), Brookelynn Marcotte (Cody), Bradley Doney, Cari Wright (Eric), Joe Hendershott (Carrie), Christopher Glazik, Jonathan Glazik (Megan) and Kylie Green; and her siblings, Carol Benoit (Denny), Elaine Munzo (Paul) and Dave Boness. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Paul's Luther Church (348 E Merchant St, Kankakee, IL 60901).
