He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemens Santel and Sarah Santel (Lineman); his siblings, Alfred Santel (Janet), Aloys Santel and Delores Varel (Jerome); his brother-in-law Ralph Koopman; and his parents-in-law, Catherine Hug, Edward Strake and Adolf "Bud" Hug.
He is survived by: his spouse Ellarine Fauke; his children, Sonja Jansen (Jeff), Edward Santel (Kristie) and Chris Santel; his sisters, Bernadine Koopmann and Diane Masterson (Eugene); and his siblings-in-law, Herman Fauke (Dolores) and Esther Santel. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren.
Mass will be limited to 100 people and face mask are required for all in attendance.
