It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Lynn Netemeyer of Damiansville, Illinois, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Thomas Toennies; her sister Ann Toennies; her father-in-law Cletus Netemeyer; and her niece Josie Walker. She is survived by: her mother Darlene Toennies of Damiansville; her husband Allen Netemeyer of Damiansville; her children, Nathan Toennies (Amber) of Payneville, KY, Jayson Netemeyer of Albers, Kaylee Netemeyer of Albers and Gavin Netemeyer of Damiansville; her grandchildren, Arik, Dean, Ilona and Autumn Toennies; her siblings, Bob Toennies (Tammy) of Damiansville and TJ Toennies (Amber) of Damiansville; her stepfather Rich Toennies of Damiansville; her mother-in-law Monica Netemeyer of Germantown; and her siblings-in-law, Ken Netemeyer (Lisa) of Germantown, Glen Netemeyer of Germantown, Keith Netemeyer (Lisa) of Germantown, Denise Schmitt (Jim) of Rubicon, WI, Karl Netemeyer of Germantown and Carol Penrod (Justin) of Ludlow. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Damian Catholic Church (1 W Main St, Damiansville, IL 62215). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to the wishes of the family (checks payable to Nathan Toennies) and will be received at the visitation or by mail, Moss Funeral Home, 535 N. 5th St. Breese, IL 62230, who is serving the family.
