He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip and Anna Maggio Sr. (Starovasnik); his former wife Lyla; and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his sons, Mark Maggio (Cheryl), Gregg Maggio (Diane) and Andy Schweickert; his grandchildren, Matthew Maggio (Martyna), Jessica Maggio, Eric Maggio (Olivia) and Brittany Allen (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Maddex, Owen, Grady, Zeke and Josie; his siblings, Cheryl Hooper and Butch Maggio (Judy); and his pet Finn.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (302 Chestnut St, Dalzell, IL 61320). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
