He is survived by: his wife Maria Rice; his children, Vonda Jenkins (Ron) of Dalzell and Guy Berogan (Karen) of Sylvan Beach; his granddaughters, Rachel Robbins (Billy), Jessica Taylor (Phil), Cheryl Holcomb (Scott), Kimmie Foster (Jason) and Alicia Berogan; his stepgrandson C. J. Johnson (Jessica); and his brothers, Bob Melton (Phyllis) of Cherry, Teddy Melton of Arkansas and James Melton (Brenda) of Texas. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; a great great grandson; a great great granddaughter.
