The memory of Seth O'Neill of Dalton City, Illinois, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 24, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Gary Edgecombe and Jim O'Neill; and his uncle Richard Helm. He is survived by: his parents, Mike O'Neill and Susan O'Neill (Edgecombe) of Oakley; his brothers, Adam Hamm (Andrea) of Cerro Gordo and Nathan Hamm (Brianna) of Argenta; his nieces and nephews, Tatum McGinnis, Jarren Hamm, Brecken Hamm and Colt Hamm; his grandmothers, Jo Ellen Edgecombe and Marilyn Primmer; and his aunts and uncles, Joan Helm, Russ Edgecombe (Carla), Patrick O'Neill (Kara), Jim Helsdingen (Ann), Chris Primmer (Sarah), Raymond Primmer (Kimberly) and Mary O'Neill.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Christian Church (3350 N MacArthur Rd, Decatur, IL 62526). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in Seth's honor may be made to the American Heart Association.
