She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Welch and Mary Welch (Hensley); her husband Fred Gerdom; her stepfather Emery Harris; and her brother Jack Welch.
She is survived by: her sons, David Worley (Wendi) of Dallas City and Darin Worley of Burlington, Iowa; and her sister Janis Morin of DesMoines, Iowa.. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
