She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas LaVelle and Dolores LaVelle (Richers); her husband Tod Melton; and her brother Ken LaVelle. She is survived by: her daughters, Layla Johnson (Mike Paar) of Warsaw, Lindsey Fischer of Dallas City and Leslie "Sid" Griffin of Donnellson, Iowa; her grandchildren, Avery, Autumn Johnson, Kaleb Fischer, Emily Rhoades (Kasey) and Taylor Griffin; and her siblings, Connie Harrison (Gary) of Leesburg, Linda McEntee (Gene) of Nauvoo and Jim LaVelle of Minot.
