He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Dodd and Pearl Dodd (Sawyer); his wife Marilyn F. Foresman; his son R. Bruce Dodd; and his siblings, Lloyd Dodd, Virginia Collins, Lois Paige and Betty White.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan Dodd (Patti) of O'Fallon and Susan DeSotel (Dale) of Niota, Illinois; and his grandsons, Ben Dodd (Sara), Adam Dodd, Josh DeSotel (Kendra), Jason DeSotel (Libby) and Justin DeSotel (Rachel). He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
