She was predeceased by: her parents, John O'Brien and Thelma Steele; her sibling Ardys Gray; her significant other John E. Trout; her son Carl Emerson Trout; and her sons-in-law, Ronnie McDowell and Mike Brandon.
She is survived by: her sister Alyce Lair; and her children, James Robert Trout, Carole Elaine McDowell and Sandra K. Brandon. She is also survived by children she was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
