She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Gittings and Verda Gittings (Scott); her brother Randy; her nephews, Gary Gittings and J. R. Hewitt; and her great-nephew Cale Hartrick.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lyle Gittings of Dallas City, Ronnie Gittings (Shelly) of Stronghurst, Rodney Gittings (Drena) of Rock Island, Illinois, Rosie Postle (Gerald) of Carman, Sandra Hewitt of Dallas City, Ellen May (Randy) of Lomax, Nancy McDonald (Carey) of Denver and Peg Nelson (Randy) of Mt. Union, Iowa.; and her close friends, Melinda Olson and Brett Pence. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
