With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Henry Ellison of Dallas City, Illinois, who passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Ellison and Frances Ellison (Noble). He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Jody Ellison of Carthage, John David Ellison of Dallas City and Jeffrey Ellison (Alicia) of DeWitt, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jordan Giberson, Forrest Ellison, Trevor Vorhies, Brady Ellison, Nick Vorhies, Jack Ellison and Annie Ellison; and his great grandchild Libby Ellison. He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters.

The family requests that non-vaccinated individuals in attendance to please wear a face mask.
