He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles J. Foglesong and Iva Jane Foglesong (Webster); his former wife Marie Lowman; his wife Lyla L. Tubbs; and his siblings, Rosalind Cassill and William Foglesong.
He is survived by: his former wife Kathryn R. Zern; his children, Frances Crupper (Chuck) of Ivesdale, Ellen Poulter of Blandinsville, Illinois and Jesse "Frank" Foglesong, Jr. of Dallas City; his stepchildren, Dennis, Roy Tubbs and Marlene Walters; and his brother Dorn Ival Vandorn Foglesong of Indiana. He is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established, contributions may be made at the Barr Memorial Chapel, Fort Madison.
