She was predeceased by: her parents, Jamie A. Rhea and Mary A. Rhea (Zimmerlin); her husband Donald Eugene Anguish; and her son David Lair. She is survived by: her siblings, Jamie Rhea of Niota, Marilyn "Bea" Rice of St. Louis and Kay Pond of Keokuk. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established for the Hearts of Hancock Humane Society or Dallas City First Christian Church.
