Frances I. Markey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances I. Markey of Dallas City, Illinois, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Nixon and Luella Nixon (Neff); her husband Lester V. Markey; her son Michael Markey; and her siblings, Harlan, Dayne Nixon and Marion Milburn.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Markey (Judy) of Dallas City, Barbara Mika (Gary) of Fort Madison, Becky Gibb (Randy) of Lomax, Beth Greenig (Dave) of Dallas City and Tony Markey of Dallas City; and her daughter-in-law Sherry Markey Milks. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for the Gittings Mound Cemetery or Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice.
