He is survived by: his wife Karen Brown; his son Curt Nichols of Hamilton, Illinois; his siblings, John, Pat and Eleanor; his grandchildren, Erika and Jesse; and his great grandchildren, Lucas, Zack and Harmony.

A memorial fund has been established for the River of Life Fellowship or The Grace Bible Church.
