He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brumbaugh and Anna Mae Brumbaugh; and his brother Mike. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Eric, Amy Shengelia (Irakli) and Adam (Heidi); and his grandchildren, Nikolas, David, Maximus, Aubrey, Jackson, Liberty, Sadie and Annika.

In lieu of flowers, any memorial contributions can be made to the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington, Iowa.
